Aijaz, who is the head cleric at Wuyen area in Pulwama had also led protest against the continuous detention of Mirwaiz Qazi Ahmed Yasir.
Moulana Aijaz Noori is a resident of Pulwama and had recently lead protest against the painting of Masjid walls with the Indian Flag.
Aijaz Noori was arrested post the protest near Jamia Masjid of Islamabad today and has been lodged in the Police Station Sadr in Islamabad.
